What’s with the name, Sartorialee?
Well, I love tailoring, I’m from Essex and my name’s Lee – so it had to be Sartorialee.
Sounds exactly like sartorially. And I’ve always loved a pun..
Describe Sartorialee’s style…
I like to think of myself more of a separates man, not just a man in a suit. Think tweed blazer, paisley tie, merino wool gilet, grey flannels and usually brown suede shoes. I believe the devil is in the detail.
What can we expect from Sartorialee, the blog?
Sartorialee: dressing the globe-trotting man charts what I wear, where I travel, the people and places I shoot and write about, my favourite eateries, the bars I frequent and the interesting discoveries I make along the way. I developed a taste for the high life while working as Creative Director on Condé Nast Traveller magazine. Although in reality I’m half city boy/half country boy, living on a farm in the home counties of England. Smart one minute, mucking out my daughter’s horses the next. I hope what you see before you inspires you in some small way and echos the passion I put in to everything I produce. Vogue House sowed the seed for my wanderlust but this is how I see the world through my own eyes
