Leading heritage and lifestyle brand, Barbour, have collaborated with English Heritage to produce two exclusive jackets that form part of a new Stonehenge collection.
Named after stones originally used in the monument’s construction, the sandstone Sarsen and the distinctive blue stone, Preseli, these jackets are exclusive to Stonehenge and are available to purchase from the Visitor Centre, one of the UK’s leading tourist attractions.
Based on two of Barbour’s iconic styles, the Ashby and the Corbridge, the jackets have been given a makeover with a new lining and exclusive repeat-pattern Stonehenge Trilithon woven fabric, traditionally woven in Yorkshire.
The four pocket Preseli (pictured above left, inset) is a smart casual waxed cotton jacket that looks great with jeans or chinos. With two large bellows pockets, distinctive zip with large ring pull and traditional corduroy collar, all iconic Barbour features, this is a must have jacket for the autumn winter wardrobe.
The Sarsen, (featured lead image) available in waxed cotton, cuts a clean silhouette, boasting two large pockets, smart brass stud closures and traditional corduroy collar. The perfect jacket for the outdoors, it’s a natural accompaniment to denim or cords.
With Tattersall shirts, so synonymous with country life, practical and versatile knitwear and bags ideal for a weekend away, the Stonehenge collection is stylish, functional and ideal for lovers of the great outdoors.
English Heritage cares for over 400 historic monuments, buildings and sites – from world famous prehistoric sites to grand medieval castles, from Roman forts on the edges of empire to Cold War bunkers. They bring the story of England to life for over 10 million visitors each year.
