Antony Morato, to those unaccustomed to the brand, are huge in their native Italy – their bi-annual residence within the voluminous walls of the Fortezza da Basso bear testament to that – but they are less well-known in the UK. The men’s apparel and accessories label was founded in 2007 in Naples by 27-year old entrepreneur Lello Caldarelli. It has become one of the fastest growing Italian fashion businesses, with a turnover of €94 million (2014), already distributed in 3,200 multi-brand stores in over 65 countries world-wide. It boasts 60 standalone stores in strategic locations throughout Europe, Asia and South America.
