WHAT a carry-on!

Every once in a while a product comes along and blows the rest of the competition out of the water. The F38 carry-on suitcase from German manufacturer Vocier, hailed as ‘the world’s most advanced luggage system for the global nomadic gentleman’, is one such item.

Most men rely on the carry-on for short business trips, largely for convenience and avoiding the oft-lengthy wait for the carousel at the other end, not to mention the risk of the airline mislaying the luggage if they go down the baggage drop route.

Fully aware that weight is a crucial factor for air travel, Vocier have ensured the thickness of the vegetable tanned Tuscan leather of the F-38 is trimmed to such a degree to make it lighter than other rival leather cases. What’s more, it complies with cabin baggage size limitations stipulated by most short haul airlines.

The designers believe the F collection “represents the absolute pinnacle of what is desirable and technically possible in leather goods”. Not only  will it  leave your prized outfits wrinkle-free and ready to go on arrival in London, Paris or New York, but it will safely house your passport and flight ticket in a natty pop-out compartment beneath the handle (that slots away out of sight when the handle is retracted).

So no need to carry an extra travel wallet, which, like me, you’ll have probably left behind on the plane.
