I had a first look at Jaeger‘s AW15 offering back in the spring when their press day at London’s One Horse Guards left me raving. It wasn’t just the mention of the ‘sexy Dad’ target audience either, although that may have helped. It really was mightily impressive, the highlight, of which there were many, were the archive-raiding dashing tweed suits (pictured below).

The new collection updates the modern man ‘s wardrobe whilst remaining true to its rich heritage. Tailoring is elevated by contemporary new cuts, premium fabric constructions and bespoke-style detailing. First-class fabrics are sourced from the world’s best mills with heritage British tweed – used accross key items from blazers and trousers to overcoats.

Meanwhile, the signature camel coat returns in soft cashmere and wool; leading the way for an extensive range of stylish outerwear. A classic colour palette of navy, charcoal, monochrome and camel runs throughout, reflecting the timelessness of the collection.

Luxury casual wear (pictured below) becomes an important part of the Jaeger men’s remit this season; think soft tailoring, Donegal tweeds, washed cords and chinos that have had a J-Crew style makeover.

I couldn’t possibly sign off without mentioning this exemplary dinner jacket – they don’t come much better than this – using the Jaeger monogram in repeat pattern to magnificent effect. It is epitome of evening wear elegance.
